The versatility of My Favorite Things Die Namics

If you are ever looking for a quick card to make, you can't beat using dies like My Favorite Things, Fancy That and Lifestyle Crafts to name a few.

This card was so easy.

This was a very last minute card I made for a little girl named Chloe.

I always use the Fancy That 'Easel' die on all my cards.

On the front of the card I used My Favorite Things Fishtail Stax and Girly Graphic Tee Die and stamp set

The lightning bolt stamp I borrowed from the My Favorite Things Masculine Graphic Tee Die and stamp set.

And lastly there is the My Favorite Things By the letters alphabet.  This has got to be one of the most versatile alphabet dies on the market today!!!!

So if there's a sentiment or something you want on the shirt that is not in the Girly Graphic Tee set you know you can use other MFT stamp sets and create your own.

I'd love to see what last minute card you had to create?

One for the boys

Here is a little something for the boys!

I find it hard to find dies that I can use on boy projects including birthday cards.  Here is a little something I whipped up.

What did I use and how.........

I've used the Lifestyle Crafts/Quickutz Football die (REV-0100) which I cut out twice to get the two toned effect.

Emboss a piece of paper big enough for the Fishtail Flag STAX from My Favorite Things.

Cut out some grass.  Here I used Lifestyle Crafts/Quickutz (REV-0183-S) Grass die.

Lastly cut out a sentiment strip and stamp a sentiment on it to suit the occassion.

Stick everything down and that's it!

Butterflies and Dragonflys

The tag on this card is so cute. off cuts were used to get that striped effect.  A great way to USE YOUR SCRAPS!

Use the tag on it's own as a gift tag with a personalised message on the back.

Add a little bit of stitching and VOILA!!

I {heart} the silhouette that is left after you have cut your dies out.  With most of the dies we sell you can achieve this effect.  Add some patterned paper, fabric or whetever you like behind the silhouette and this is what you get.  SO CUTE and a GREAT EFFECT!!!

Oval Stax by MFT

I am sure you are wondering what is the difference between MFT's Oval Stax and other nesting dies out there.

MFT's Oval Stax are especially made to fit in the oval doiles.

If you purchase both sets this means that the gap between ovals is smaller as you would use one die from one set and one die from the other.

Check out this product tour and see for yourself how great they are!

Two toned Royal rose : TUTORIAL

This is such a gorgeous rose!

By cutting out to of them in one colour of cardstock makes the rose bigger than normal and by cutting out the rose in two different colours of cardstock or patterned papers give the rose a whole new look!

Try it!

We would love to see what you have created.

Don't forget to leave a comment.  We like to know what you think!
